We saw the baby and heard the heart beat today!! It was amazing! It was incredible to see every little part was there-just tiny!! We saw his spine and little heart beating! He was sucking his thumb-maybe he’ll be like his cousin Thomas who thinks his thumb is as good as a pop sickle! Dustin was relieved that there was just one little person in there! The doctor said the baby and I are looking great! I am 12 weeks along now. In September we will find out if we are having a Phoebe or Phoebo! We appreciate your continued prayers during this exciting time!
This July has been pretty good, Jae & I started off by going to my parents to help get ready for their big 4th of July party. Every year we have a ton bbq and fireworks, and the addition of their in ground pool just added a whole new realm. I learned some of my parents smoking tactics this year in hopes i can pull of my own bbq party this summer, they even gave me one of their old smokers my dad built.
Anyway the party was a success, and it was great getting to see everyone. Its almost like a family reunion for me. It was great to see Jon, Jake, Dusti, and Chad (Dusti’s boyfriend ooooohhh) there too. Click here to view the pics from the party.
After the 4th, Jae has been helping a friend, Kayli, plan her wedding. Jae and her mom have been messing with flowers every weekend. They’ve been making boutonnieres, bouquets, and I’m sure other stuff I can’t spell. I did get the opportunity to take some bridal pictures of Kayli at the Myriad Gardens, and they turned out great. It was easy on my part, Kayli did a great job running around the park in a satin dress in 90+ degree heat.
While Jae has been working on flowers, I’ve been working on our 1st popup camper! We got it at a great price, it just needs some tlc. This past weekend I put a new floor in and it seemed to give it new life. We are planning a camping trip to Eufaula Lake with the Anderson’s this next weekend and I can’t wait! I’ll have some pics posted after our weekend at the lake, sooo…
Stay tuned,

As gas prices rise, more and more people are getting furious at what they have to pay. The gas prices are effecting everyone, they make our airline tickets more, our food is more because of shipping, and people cant afford to take vacations. Well this rant isn’t about gas, its about AIR!!!
Yes air, twice now I have been out and had a low tire and had to go searching for air. I’m sure everyone has seen the air compressors outside gas stations that charge, I just laugh it off and go on. Well in my search for air I stopped 4 times in a 2 mile stretch and everyone of them charged for air, anywhere from $.50 - $.75. 75 CENTS!!!! FOR AIR!!!! You may call me cheap, froogle, poor, or anything along those lines but I try to spend my money wisely and spending it on air is ridiculous, just like bottled water. I drove 4 miles out of the way to a gas station I knew had free air. I was not as lucky the second time, I was in the middle of the city and had no choice, I had to pay for air.
So I spent $.50 on air for the first time in my life. I would rather carry a bicycle pump and pump up my tire that way than spend $.50 on air. I feel violated! Anyway just for a heads up if your ever in my predicament, I believe every 7-11 has FREE air. If you know of any other stations with free air, just post in the comments.
I know this happened like forever ago(June 14), but better late than never right? Anyways, our little Sether’s turned 16 on June 19th and now he’s out there driving all by himself!!! We had what was suppose to be a surprise birthday party the weekend before, but he was fully aware something was going on. They had the adults and kids come at different times so Seth could spend time with each. The theme of the party was an island luau. The adults came at 5pm where they hung out on the patio and had island shish kabobs.
The kids came around 7.30 and they had all kinds of stuff set up for them. There was a skim boad(slip&slide w/ a board), ping-pong, a dj, chocolate fountain, trampoline, and a weenie roast with a bonfire. Seth had a great time and the party was a huge success.

Start Slide Show with PicLens LiteAlso known as Frost Keg Float. This is my 3rd year to attend and overall it was a good trip. I traveled down to Tahlequah Friday afternoon with Jansen & Patrick. I met Jansen through work and Patrick through Jansen (make sense? good) We had a good time on our way down, killing about a pound of beef jerky and making semi’s blow their horns.
By the time we got there and situated, it was time for the bands to start. We gathered around and listened to Standing Ape Count and The Bedouin Duet while I introduced Jansen & Patrick to my friends in the east.
After a good night of hanging out it was time to get ready to float. The 1st bus left around 11:15 and my bus around 11:30. The float place seemed to have issues and the last bus didn’t get on the water till 3:45. I guess they didn’t believe them when they said there would be 350 people floating. Even though we all didn’t get to float together it was pretty fun. After giving time for everyone to get back to the campsite, I go searching for the later groups and find out that one of my friends went to jail. (click for full story) So I just kinda hung around till it was time to go get him.
Bailing him out was a story in itself. FYI when bailing out a friend you will need:
- 1. a cashiers check or money order
- 2. location of jail
- 3. extra time\ patience (for some reason they are in no hurry to let someone out 11:45-1:15 exiting process)
Needless to say it wasn’t the best FKF, but still fun. Click for pictures (for best browsing results install PicLens)
I have recently been working with a different blog template called wordpress on some other sites. It is well put together with a smooth, slick feel. So I decided to convert my JaeDay blog and I think things have worked out pretty well. I found a theme that integrated well, and with a little help from my bud, Paul, I have a much better blogging system.
Also since learning about wordpress, I have started a blog on wordpress.com to post all the funny stuff I get forwared to me. So if your down for a laugh or two go to FW: dude check this out!

Well we are 7 weeks along now and I feel like crap! Forget morning sickness, I’m an overachiever so I have all day nausea! I know it will be worth it though! Dustin wants to know now whether it’s a boy or a girl, he doesn’t think he can wait until September! We are both hoping for a boy, but will be thrilled with either! Thank you all for your kind words on the blog! It is a scary and exciting time!
There’s a bun & foil in the oven? huh?
There’s a BUN IN THE OVEN!!!!!!
That’s right we’re going to be parents!!!! Memorial Day, May 26, I’m in the shower and Jae comes in telling me I have to hurry and go look in the oven. “There is something in it.” Now a week or two before Jae had been doing a crafting project and there was foil in the oven, there’s never foil in the oven so it threw me off. But I get to the oven and Jae says “What is it!”. Of course not completely awake and being a man, I take a look and it a bun setting on foil. So there is a bun & foil in the oven. She screams there’s a bun in the oven!!!! I turn around and my jaw hits the floor! “WHAT!”
We’ve been trying for about a year now, and Jae just had a procedure to “check out her insides” (<- dmiller terminology). We definitely weren’t expecting this month, and even the night before she took a test and it was negative. Well the next morning she saw the test again and it said positive. So she took another test, we had got some free test from her sister who spent the big bucks on the digital tests (you know “the most sophisticated thing you’ll ever pee on” Well that one turned up positive too!!!
We went to the doctor on Tuesday, and the concur. She is about 3-4 weeks along right now and due in February 09. We will be able to find out the sex of the baby in Sept, and we are scheduled for a doctors visit every month.
comments are welcome!
thanks
So I’m eating some Captain Crunch for dinner, YES Captain Crunch. Now I normally only eat cereal on Saturday’s because this is the only day I’m not running late for work or church. Anyway Jae normally picks some healthy, grainy cereal and i told to pick a kind we both like this time.
Anyway I haven’t had the Captain in awhile (like several months) so i set down with my milk, bowl, cereal, and huge spoon. I’m halfway into my bowl and I turn the box so I can read the back. I know I’m soo sophisticated. Anyway I see this!!!!
DOES THIS LOOK FAMILIAR!? Well it does to me, this is the same back of the box as i had several months ago! When I had it last time I was upset it was the same one as before too! This thing hasn’t changed in over a year. Well I’m here to tell you, as one who reads the back of cereal boxes, you need to change these things up to keep customers.
I will definitely be looking at the back of the box before I purchase Captain Crunch again! Come on Quaker get you act together.
Start Slide Show with PicLens LiteWe got to attend a Redhawks (Minor League Baseball) game with our good friends Kenny & Shaylee. This was one of Kenny & Shaylee’s 1st times to get out of the house without Kennidee. We brought Thomas with us and he helped to keep things lively. We ate at Earl’s BBQ in Bricktown before the game or actually during the 1st two innings, then we headed to the ball field.
We caught Rowdy, the mascot, on the way to our seats but the picture didn’t turn out. I actually got to catch like 2 innings before we “had” to go to the play area. There they had a couple of slides and some open grass to run around on (or roll down the hill on). All by Thomas’ little-self he decided to roll down the grassy hill, and after observing this 2-3 times I thought I’d help him out by getting more speed from his role. LOL
Now back in our seats and watching baseball, it’s starting to get dark and what do they announce over the loud speakers but “COTTON CANDY”. Well you know where that lead to, between Jae & Thomas they had to have cotton candy. I think this was Thomas’ 1st time to have cotton candy and we see why. You would have thought he was a pinball game bouncing everywhere, dancing to the music, and clapping to the chants. And of course he crashed on the way home from the game.
It was great time with great friends.
